The top of Division One of the Bradford Central League has become congested, with just one point separating four teams.
Previously unbeaten Apperley Bridge came unstuck at home to Thornbury depite posting a useful 195 (Umar Nisar Khan 59, Mohammed Ozair 5-35). Thornbury reached their target with an over to spare for the loss of seven wickets, Kaleem Afzal hitting 55.
Norwood Green maintained their 100 per cent record to join Apperley Bridge and Thornbury at the summit after their four-wicket win at home to Great Horton Church (105), where Abrar Hussain returned six for 21.
Just one point behind the trio of leaders are Girlington, who amassed the season's highest score at Allerton (308-7) where Sajid Parvez hit an unbeaten 124. In reply, Mazood Zaman (80no) steered the home side to 153 for five to deny the visitors all six points.
In Division Two, unbeaten leaders Thornbury (208) had a comfortable 76-run win at home to Apperley Bridge, where Amjad Ali and Abdul Halim both hit 60s for the home side.
Norwood Green's man in form Abdul Raqeeb was at it again with both bat and ball. He hit 83 out of his side's total of 160 at Great Horton Church, then followed up with seven for 32 to send back the home side for 104.
Girlington (153, Umar Abbas 6-32) recorded their first win at home to Allerton, who were dismissed for 125 in reply (Shoaib Iqbal 5-24).
